How Trauma Manifests in Adulthood

Trauma experienced in the past can deeply affect how we live our lives in the present. In adulthood, trauma often reveals itself through various challenges, including:

My Clinical Approach

At the core of my practice is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapeutic model designed to help heal trauma. EMDR forms the foundation of my therapeutic work, allowing clients to reprocess distressing memories and experiences for deeper emotional healing and transformation.

In addition to EMDR, I integrate various complementary therapeutic approaches to create a holistic and personalized experience:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed Therapy

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Polyvagal-Informed Therapy

  • Music Therapy

To support trauma work, therapy may incorporate the following practices, tailored to your individual needs:

  • Mindfulness Practice

Individual Psychotherapy

If you're ready to dive deep into healing from trauma, individual psychotherapy can support you in regaining balance and building resilience. Using EMDR as the foundation, along with the approaches mentioned above, we will work together to help you achieve your goals. Sessions are available in-person, by video, or by phone.

Fee: $165 • 1 hour

 

Individual Counselling

While trauma work is my primary focus, Individual Counselling offers a supportive, non-judgmental space for addressing everyday challenges. Whether you're navigating transitions, dealing with loss, facing conflicts, or feeling stressed or lonely, this approach provides a compassionate environment to explore and work through these issues. If you need a safe space to talk, I will listen and guide you with empathy through any difficult time.

Fee: $165 • 1 hour
